Download a statement file from your bank and drop it in below. Everything stays on your computer. Prefer it hands-off? Connect your bank and new transactions arrive on their own, about once a day.
How to import older history
Your bank lets you download years of transactions in one go, so you can start with a complete picture. Do it once. After that, new transactions arrive automatically. Pick the widest date range your bank offers and import each file. Maali skips anything it's already seen, so overlapping ranges are safe.
Chase
- Sign in at chase.com and open the account.
- On the activity list, choose Download account activity.
- Set the date range as wide as it allows.
- Pick the CSV format and download, then drop the file in above.
American Express
- Sign in and open Statements & Activity.
- Choose a custom date range covering as much history as it allows.
- Download as CSV and drop the file in above.
Most other banks follow the same shape: open the account's transactions, set a custom date range as far back as you can, and export as CSV.
Import folder
Maali imports CSVs you place here. It never logs into your bank.
